"Jeannette was recommended to us by a friend who had successfully been granted an EHCP for his child. She has been the most incredible support for us on our journey towards securing an EHCP for our son earlier this year. She is an extremely experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated parent advocate who held our hand through the most difficult times encouraging us to keep going providing much needed empathy and rock solid support.

We secured our EHCP solely because of Jeannette - that I am sure - it would have been impossible without her and we cannot thank her enough for being there. Unlike many resources we had to access (assessments to prove need) her fees were fair and affordable and this was so appreciated during this process and are testament to her sense of integrity and justice both of which underpin her work and drive her forward to make sure justice prevails.

Her attention to detail, experience and pure tenacity were crucial components in securing our EHCP and I couldn’t recommend her more highly."

"Jeannette worked tirelessly to support our son and us. The journey to finally being awarded our EHCP (and specialist school placement) was harrowing, emotional and exhausting. Jeannette provided us with the most professional service all the way through. The advice, support and encouragement was second to none. I was able to contact her whenever I needed to and she always found time to talk us through the next steps. At the very centre of her core, Jeannette is motivated to do the right things for these young people. To give them what they need and deserve. Her compassion and understanding surrounding SEN issues was incredible. We will always remain grateful to an incredible human being who is fantastic at her job."

"I cannot recommend Jeannette highly enough. She advocated for us every step of the way through a very complex appeal against an EHCP that wasn’t fit for purpose. Her knowledge and experience of SEND is superior, her dedication and commitment second to none. Our appeal happened during a very difficult time in our family life and Jeannette was so kind, caring and supportive to us all on the challenging and anxious journey of appeal to tribunal. We just couldn’t have got through the process without her. Amongst many other things Jeannette rewrote our daughter’s EHCP and as a result of her very hard work we had a hugely successful tribunal and were awarded exactly what we needed to improve our daughter's education and care. Two years on, and we have had a massive turnaround in our daughter's progress, and she is achieving so much. I truly believe this wouldn’t have happened without Jeannette’s expertise.

Jeannette has continued to support us through annual reviews, transition reviews and advocating on our behalf with the LA since. Jeannette is an amazing person and passionate advocate who goes above and beyond - and truly has the best interests of SEND children and their families at heart.”

"We cannot recommend Jeannette highly enough. She was not only professional in her advice but a friend who gave us very much needed support. We have worked with Jeannette over the last three years.  She has helped us to get our two boys their EHCPs that are fit for their needs. She has secured specialist schools for both of them. Without Jeannette, we would not have achieved either of these things. Her knowledge and understanding of the SEN system was key. Jeannette is professional and shows empathy and always gives above and beyond what you would expect. We cannot recommend Jeannette highly enough."

"I cannot recommend Jeannette highly enough. Our daughter was really struggling to cope at school during a period of severe anxiety. She has Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism and was struggling to stay in lessons and concentrate at school. Jeannette was so encouraging and helped us to develop strategies which the school could use to support her. Her practical approach gave us the confidence to ask for the right support and to help her at home as well. Jeannette's enthusiasm and dedication are very clear and I would recommend her to anyone who has a child struggling at school and needs extra support."

Jeannette was extremely helpful in giving me clear and honest SEN advice - and amazing support in applying for an EHC Plan - which the school Senco had advised me was a pointless exercise, to even apply. The EHC Plan was finally granted at the last minute by the LA, on the day before our Tribunal Hearing. Jeannette is a great support and has a huge wealth of experience and expertise to guide parents through the SEN /EHCP process.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

As soon as I spoke with Daniel, I knew he would be the person to help us; offering calm, professional advice. Owing to Daniel's knowledge of the SEND system our son has received an EHCP and a place in a school that meets his individual needs. The whole process has been completed in a timely manner with absolute professionalism.

Daniel has been incredible. He has advocated for our son from the start of the EHC application process all the way to its conclusion and I know that we would not have managed to achieve the same results without his help. We cannot recommend Daniel's services highly enough. If we ever need advice or help again he will be our very first port of call without any hesitation!

Mrs H., West Sussex

Our ten-year-old daughter is autistic and has other complex educational needs that were not being met in her primary school. This led to significant emotional distress and behavioural issues that meant she was very unhappy and was unable to cope in a mainstream environment. Together with the school we applied for an EHCP and were shocked when we were refused even an assessment. We did not realise at this time that the whole EHCP process is designed to be as difficult and complicated as possible, to put parents off continuing and to give LEA every opportunity to delay and refuse to help the child.

Fortunately, we contacted Jeannette after initial EHCP application was turned down and she guided us through the process and was able to explain at each stage what the options were. Jeannette put us in touch with suitable specialists (Clinical Psychology, SALT and OT) so we could gather appropriate evidence and build an accurate picture of our child’s educational needs.

Jeannette dealt with all communication with the LEA and all the documentation for the EHCP and we got to the point of a tribunal date. Having reached this stage, we were able to reach a legal agreement with the LEA on school placement without going to tribunal.

Our daughter is now in specialist school suitable to her needs and is finally able to cope with school on a day-to-day basis. She is starting to build friendships and has the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment.

Without Jeannette we would not have been able to get through the process to get our daughter the education and support she needed. Jeannette has been supportive, inclusive and kind throughout. We would not hesitate to thoroughly recommend her support for parents in a similar situation to us.
